Energy business mission to Uganda and Rwanda

  • Kampala/Kigali Uganda/Rwanda (map)

Event contact: Eivind Fjeldstad

Uganda and Rwanda have a huge potential when it comes to power and the countries are ripe for renewable energy investments. To understand the markets and get to know the industry players better, Norwegian Energy Partners, in cooperation with The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kampala and NABA, invites the Norwegian hydropower and solar power industry to join our delegation trip to Kampala and Kigali from the 11th to the 16th of September 2017.

The trip to Uganda is organised in conjunction with the Future Energy Uganda conference and showcase that will be held from the 13th to the 14th of September in Kampala. We have booked a 12m² Norwegian pavilion at a good location close to the lunch area at the exhibition. This is an excellent way of marking a Norwegian presence and we hope that so many Norwegian companies as possible will be a part of the Norwegian pavilion.

After the conference on the 14th, the journey continues to Kigali, Rwanda, where we on the 15th of March will organise the same type of renewable energy seminar and networking reception as we did in Uganda. We´ll also try to organise a site visit on the 16th of September.

Please let us know if you are intereste in being a part of the Norwegian delegation to Uganda and Rwanda. The participation fee will cover our direct costs (seminar and reception costs, stand space rental, design of the panels for the stand, stand party, travel to power plant etc.), but we cannot give you an exact price before we know how many companies will be joining. Flight and accommodation are individual. We will however suggest flights and hotels for you to book.

For more information, take a look at our preliminary program or contact us, Line or Veronica, directly. You can register for this delegation trip by sending an e-mail to Veronica@norwep.com
