Marianne Jønsberg has a MA in International Development from London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Economics from The University of Bergen (UiB). Currently she works as a Macro- and development economist in the Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries, Norfund.
Ms. Jønsberg has experience as a Program Advisor in FK Norway which is a governmental body under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs that promotes institutional cooperation and exchange of people between Norway and countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Before that she worked at the Swedish Embassy in Lusaka where she amongst other, focused on promoting and strengthening necessary conditions for youth entrepreneurship in the country. Before that she was a trainee at the Norwegian Embassy working with the ambassador leading the Cooperating Partners Group (CPG) in Zambia. Further she assists with the anti-corruption and renewable energy portfolio at the embassy.
