This month, NABA would like to congratulate SunErgy for an exciting July. SunErgy is a Norwegian solar power company that builds and operates solar power plants in Cameroon.In June this year, the company’s first power station arrived in Bokosso, Cameroon. After some weeks of installation, the solar power station was up and running in mid-July. SunErgy plans to electrify five additional villages by the end of this year, and 92 villages by 2018.According to Managing Director of SunErgy Dr. Skjørshammer, “To no surprise it works as planned. However, the container was rigorously tested before shipment to Cameroon. All what remains now is to connect the solar container to the grid and the households. Right now it is raining cats and dogs as we are in the middle of the raining season. As soon as the weather permits, we will continue and switch on the electricity at the earliest. We are there!
