Summit 2013: Key note interview with Mr. Arif Naqvi and Ms. Phuti Mahanyele

NABA is proud to announce that tomorrow’s Summit will feature a key note interview of Mr. Arif Naqvi, CEO of the Abraaj Group, and Ms. Phuti Mahanyele, CEO of the Shanduka Group.Mr. Naqvi leads one of the world’s largest private equity funds in emerging markets, managing more than US$ 7.5 billion in assets. Ms. Mahanyele leads the successful South African Shanduka Group, investing in energy, telecoms, property and industrial sectors.The interview will be conducted by Ms. Zeinab Badawi, presenter of BBC’s the World News Today. Our interviewees will give concrete investment advice – sharing their experiences as investors in Africa.This interview replaces the planned interview of Mr. Dangote of the Dangote Group, who has received last minute notice that his presence is required in Nigeria. He expresses his sincere apologies that he will not be able to make it, but looks forward to welcoming Nordic delegates to a forthcoming business trip to Nigeria, to be organized by NABA from the 6th-10th of December.
