The Africa Outlook 2023 - Nordic Tour

In February NABA will host a series of events in the Nordic capitals for its annual Africa Outlook, bringing together expert commentators and industry specialists to discuss the key issues and trends that will shape the economic and political landscape across the continent in 2023, and their implications for business.

Coming against the backdrop of growing global uncertainty, and with the International Monetary Fund now expecting a third of the world economy to experience a recession this year, understanding how to navigate the risks posed by a less stable global economy, and identifying opportunities to drive growth and investment, is more crucial than ever.

The Africa Outlook will examine some of the defining trends that are impacting African economies, including:

  • The macroeconomic outlook

  • Global energy markets and the energy transition

  • Finance & Investment trends

  • Food security and agriculture

  • Risk and stability

NABA is proud to be partnering with DLA Piper, Standard Chartered Bank, Norfund, the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), Control Risks, and the Swedish-East African Chamber Of Commerce (sweacc), for the 2023 Outlook.

Speakers from all these organizations will provide their expert insight into which trends and issues to watch over the next 12 months, and what they will mean for doing business on the continent.

The schedule for the Africa Outlook 2023 is:
