Through a cooperation with Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) and AO Consulting as Organizing Partners, Nor-Shipping 2017 will for the very first time feature a dedicated focus on the African markets.
We are delighted to present the first Africa@Nor-Shipping to our delegates and partners, a week-long program customized to gather and connect the most attractive business partners from each continent. We will facilitate a high-quality networking platform for top executive delegates to build bridges with African industry players; and the perfect arena to investigate and discuss the potential business opportunities arising between the leading global cluster of Norway and the ongoing work to establish similar clusters in Africa. As entering new markets and attracting investors from abroad always represent a mutual span of challenges and risks alongside the opportunities, establishing good dialogues and partnerships with the right regional and local business partners is a key for creating future success and growth. This alliance aims to highlight and gather some key commercial opportunity insight, whilst facilitating efficient and broad networking access between the prime potential business partners from the two continents.
The Nor-Shipping week is filled with an incredibly diverse array of activities, with the exhibition at the heart of it all. The exhibition showcases approximately 22,500 sq. meters of the best and latest in maritime technology, services and solutions spread across six halls. The Nor-Shipping exhibition with a dedicated Africa Pavilion (for the African continent) will run for the entire Nor-Shipping week (i.e. from 29 May to 2 June, 2017). Many of our international exhibitors choose to be located in their country’s national pavilion.
