  • The Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) is a business network that promotes trade, investment and partnerships between Norway and African markets. Established in 2012, the association works with companies and institutions to strengthen commercial cooperation and business opportunities across the continent.

  • NABA’s members include Norwegian and international companies active in African markets across sectors such as energy, finance, infrastructure, technology and agriculture. The association has grown from its founding companies to a broad network of businesses and institutions engaged in Africa-related activities.

  • NABA supports its members through networking, knowledge sharing and events focused on business opportunities in Africa. Activities include seminars, roundtables, business missions, investor conferences and meetings with policymakers and industry leaders.

  • The Nordic-African Business Summit is NABA’s flagship annual conference held in Oslo. The event gathers business leaders, investors and policymakers from across Africa and the Nordic region to discuss investment opportunities and strengthen commercial partnerships.

  • Companies interested in doing business in Africa or strengthening partnerships with African markets can apply for membership. Membership provides access to NABA’s network, events and business insights. For more information, please contact the Secretariat.

  • Yes. NABA regularly organizes business missions to African markets and also facilitates visits from African business delegations to Norway. These missions help companies explore new markets and connect with local partners and stakeholders.

  • NABA runs a Volunteer Program that gives students and young professionals an opportunity to gain experience in international business and event organization while contributing to NABA’s activities and events.
