Brynild Gruppen AS is one of Norway’s largest family-owned confectionary manufacturers with roots going back to 1895. The company is owned and managed, as it always has been, by the Brynildsen family. Now by the 4th and 5th generation. Brynild Gruppen operates within the segment fast moving consumer goods, such as chocolate, confectionary (sweets) and snacks (nuts and dried fruits). Brynild Gruppen Holding AS is the parent company and includes all business in the Nordic countries within sweets, chocolate and snacks. Brynild Gruppen has one production plant in Norway, situated in Fredrikstad. The turnover is about 740 million NOK and there are about 230 employees.
