Fairtrade Norge
Fairtrade Norge was founded in 1997 and is part of the global umbrella organization Fairtrade International. The organization works to make it easier for consumers and businesses to make sustainable choices, with a vision of a world where trade and business promotes justice and sustainable development for all.
Faitrade Norge partners with a range of both private and public stakeholders towards accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals. Currently, 22 Norwegian companies are licensed to use the Fairtade certification on their products, offering around 400 certified Fairtade products to consumers in Norway and beyond. Only products whose value-chain satisfies the Fairtrade standards can be marketed with the Fairtrade mark.
