Our mission is to create seafood ingredients of the highest quality for adding value to our customers’ products.
At our strategic location in Aalesund, on the west coast of Norway, we have direct access to the clean ocean of the North Atlantic and the Barents Sea. Here we care greatly about the health of our oceans, to protect the high quality of raw materials and ensure the sustainability of fisheries.
The Bjørge Group, who is behind Seagems Norway, has family traditions for seafood production dating back to 1946. In the 1980s the Bjørge Group went from production of fresh fish to the utilization of by-products from fisheries in the creation of value-adding flavor ingredients.
Through 3 generations our passion for the ocean has put sustainability at the core of our operations, and it will continue to guide us for the generations to come.
