Ms. Sandra Abena Nøsen Opoku is currently finalising a Master’s degree in Public International Law at the University of Oslo, specialising in International Economic Law and Sustainable Development, with a focus on trade and sustainability. She also holds an LLB from SOAS University of London, where her studies focused on the legal systems of Africa and Asia and political economy.
With legal and advisory experience from Norway, Ghana, and the UK, Ms. Opoku brings a unique cross-continental perspective to her role as Trade Advisor at NABA. As General Manager of CeST Ghana, she oversaw projects in sustainability and policy advocacy, collaborating with stakeholders across the private sector, government agencies, and NGOs. Her work spans sustainable trade policy, value addition in African critical mineral value chains, and the intersection of international investment law and environmental justice.
