Norway’s Ambassador to South Africa
Ms. Astrid Emilie Helle is Norway’s Ambassador in South Africa, having previously served as Ambassador to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, and Deputy Director General and Senior Advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has also served at Norwegian embassies in Tunis, Morocco and the Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva. Ambassador Helle holds a PhD on Norway and European Integration from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques from Paris.
