European Union Intellectual Property Office: Africa IP SME Helpdesk – first-line support on IP for SMEs / presentation to NABA members

Welcome to a webinar to learn more about the European Union Intellectual Property (IP) Office Africa IP SME Helpdesk. The webinar will contain a presentation of the Helpdesk services from an IP specialist. Furthermore, a Q&A will be held to answer to all queries and to gather feedback from participants.

The aim of this webinar is to raise awareness about the Helpdesk services among Norwegian SMEs, who may benefit from the Africa IP SME Helpdesk support given that Norway is a participating country of the Single Market Programme (SMP).

European Union Intellectual Property Office

  • Alberto Russo has been working for the European Institutions since 2012, first as International Cooperation Specialist at the European Commission Directorate-General for Communication in Brussels and then as Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation Specialist at the Institutional and Cooperation Department of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante (Spain) since 2019. He has been active since 2022 as Project Manager for the AfrIPI proramme and the Africa IP SME Helpdesk, initiatives co-funded by the European Union and managed by the EUIPO.
