Ms. Merete Lundemo

Norway’s Ambassador to Ethiopia

H.E. Merete Lundemo has served for more than 30 years as a Norwegian diplomat in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa. She was Ambassador to Abidjan and to Dhaka, as well as Special Representative for the Sahel, before assuming her post as Ambassador to Ethiopia last year. Her experience also includes working as a special adviser to the President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and international assignments as an election observer.

Ms. Tsehay Hailemichael

Senior Programme Officer

Ms. Tsehay Hailemichael is the Senior Programme Officer for Private Sector Development and Energy at the Norwegian Embassy in Ethiopia. She is also responsible for the work on business promotion and interacts with the Norwegian business community in Ethiopia. Ms. Hailemichael has experience working in both Norway and Ethiopia at different institutions.
