Our key note speaker is Ms. Koosum Kalyan, a Board Director of MTN Group and Aker Solutions, as well as NABA’s Advisory Board.

Ms. Koosum Kalyan

Ms. Kalyan´s career involves new country entry and new business development in Angola, Libya, Tanzania, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and downstream activities in Mozambique and Ghana, where she has played a key role in negotiations with stakeholders, Presidents, Prime Ministers and Ministers.
She currently serves on the following boards as non-executive director: MTN Group Ltd, Standard Bank Group, South African Bank Note Company, Petmin Mining Ltd, and Alternate Director at Hayleys Energy Services (Sri Lanka), AOS Orwell (Nigeria) and Aker Solutions (Norway). Prior to this Ms. Kalyan served as the Senior Business Development Manager of African Exploration Oil and Gas, of Shell International from 2000 to 2008. Ms. Kalyan holds a degree in B.Comm (Law) (Hons Economics) from University of Durban-Westville and a Senior Executive Management Programme from the London Business School in 1997.
