Mr. David Pilling

Mr. David Pilling is the Africa Editor of the Financial Times, which he joined in 1990. He previously served as Asia Editor and Tokyo Bureau Chief from 2002 to 2008, and has reported as a foreign correspondent from around the world throughout his career. His accolades include the Society of Publishers in Asia's Best Commentator prize.

Mr. Pilling holds a degree in English and Russian from Cambridge University and a diploma in Journalism from City St George's, University of London.
