Mr. James Muhangi is an Agricultural Economist currently serving as the General Manager of Rubanga Cooperative Society, where he is widely recognized for advancing cooperative modernization, sustainable agribusiness, and inclusive finance across East Africa’s agricultural value chains.

Under his leadership, Rubanga has secured strategic partnerships with major financial institutions and impact investors. He has overseen the Cooperative’s achievement of globally recognized certification standards, including Fairtrade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, and UNBS compliance, enabling premium pricing and increased farmer returns.
