Mr. Ryan Kalk

Managing Director, Beyond Bricks Foundation

Mr. Ryan Kalk is the Managing Director of the Beyond Bricks Foundation, a South African social-impact organisation associated with Balwin Properties. Formerly the Balwin Foundation, the organisation works in education and skills development, sports development, and community outreach, with a particular focus on empowering young people and women.

Ryan brings over two decades of commercial and operational leadership to the role, having co-founded a sports business, led organisations in the sport and consumer-goods sectors, and served in senior national sales leadership at Balwin Properties. He now leads initiatives that connect corporate social investment with practical training, entrepreneurship and sport — building partnerships between business, training providers, sporting organisations and community-based organisations to deliver measurable, sustainable social impact. He holds a BCom in Finance and Business Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
