Ms. Silje Uhlen Maurset

Adviser, Section for Partnerships, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad)

Ms. Silje Uhlen Maurset’s work focuses on how development finance can help de-risk and mobilise private investment. She leads Norad’s initiative to explore how Norwegian expertise can help strengthen aquaculture value chains in Africa. Her work brings together expertise from industry, research and academia to identify constraints to investment and explore opportunities that can unlock commercially viable and sustainable aquaculture projects.

Prior to Norad, Ms. Maurset worked in strategy and management consulting at Monitor Deloitte, and with technology transfer at CERN. She has a background in bio- and nano-technology R&D, entrepreneurship and startup mentoring.
