We are excited to welcome dedicated volunteers who share our vision of a stronger, greener and more connected future between Norway and African countries.

As part of our 1 year volunteer program, you’ll gain unique insights into how diplomacy and international business collaboration work by supporting our events and projects. You will work alongside leaders shaping the future of sustainable trade and investment between Norway and the African continent. Whether it’s helping organise flagship events like the annual NABA Business Summit, assisting with research and communications, or supporting our members, your contribution will be invaluable.

This is your chance to:

  • Build networks across Africa and the Nordics

  • Develop skills in international business, diplomacy and sustainability

  • Contribute to projects with real impact

We have several volunteer positions open for 2026, including:

  • Communications and Social Media Volunteer

  • Embassy Liaison Volunteer

  • Event Logistics Volunteer

Qualifications:

  • Students or young professionals from all disciplines

  • Based in Oslo, Norway

  • Able to dedicate up to 5 days a month to volunteer work

  • Able to work weekends, evenings and full time in short periods for specific NABA events

  • Service minded and eager to learn more about the Norwegian-African private sector
