Côte d'Ivoire

Côte d'Ivoire has launched an ambitious programme to diversify its economy, aiming to move beyond raw commodity exports and secure a stronger place in global value chains on its path to upper-middle-income status, and is establishing itself as a leader in cashew processing, with exports of processed products surpassing 330,000 tons. The economy is expected to grow by 6.2% in 2025, slightly above the 6.1% recorded in 2024, with growth projected to average 6.4% in 2026 and 2027, supported mainly by hydrocarbons, mining, and services. Côte d'Ivoire is the world's largest cocoa producer and the economic hub of Francophone West Africa, with Abidjan serving as the region's leading financial and logistics centre.
