Lunch briefing on the African Continental Free Trade Area

  • Oslo NHO Middelthuns gate 27 (map)

Event contact: Eivind Fjeldstad

NABA members are welcome to join a lunch to learn more about the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Currently ratified by 22 out of 54 African countries, the African Continental Free Trade Area will create a single continental market for goods and services, with free movement of business persons and investments, and thus pave the way for accelerating the establishment of the Continental Customs Union and the African customs union.

We will be joined by South Africa’s Chief Director Mr. Wamkele Keabetswe Mene from the International Trade & Economic Development Division of the Department of Trade & Industry.

Mr. Wamkele will brief us on the process, challenges and prospects and answer any questions from our members. Please note: limited number of seats.
