Aquaculture in Mozambique

Investors and companies in the fishing industry are welcomed to the “Aquaculture in Mozambique – international business conference” to take place on Pemba, 9 -10 November 2011.
The Ministry of Fisheries of Mozambique is hosting an international conference to promote aquaculture business opportunities and investments. The Government’s policy is to increase aquaculture production and export earnings by attracting foreign direct investment, technologies and skills essential to sustain economic growth. This conference, with a core business orientation, will address a range of topics, including: the fisheries sector of Mozambique; resources and potentialities for fresh water and marine aquaculture; the status of current industrial aquaculture; regional and global markets and marketing; business prospects. More information to be found here – or contact NABA member Centre for Development Cooperation in Fisheries (CDCF) who will be present on Pemba.
