Job creation through innovation - join our EU Interreg project

Together with our partners Access2innovation in Denmark, and Inclusive Business Sweden, NABA is running an EU Interreg (Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak) bridge-building project with the aim of exploring opportunities for improving the collaboration between Scandinavian universities and SMEs for the development of sustainable commercial solutions targeting African markets.

This bridge-building project is a first step that will enable us to find potential partners in academia with aligned interests with whom we can define a larger project/strategy and can raise funds for a larger implementation project. Our hope is to use this as a basis for a large-scale Interreg Implementation programme, but also to explore EU-African opportunities associated with Horizon Europe as well as other programmes.

During the next couple of months and until May 2022, we would like to invite you and your colleagues to a series of workshops and engagement opportunities in Sweden (Göteborg), Norway (Oslo) and Denmark (Aalborg & Copenhagen).

Future dates for workshops in 2022

Gothenburg: "How to Strengthen University-SMEs' Partnerships for Sustainable Solutions in Africa" 3th-4th of March 2022 in Gothenburg, more information and registration. The event is organized by Inclusive Business Sweden.

Oslo: 6th-7th of April 2022 in Oslo. The event is organized by NABA.
