Ms. Dorothy Tembo

Deputy Executive Director, International Trade Centre

Ms. Dorothy Tembo is Deputy Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint agency of the United Nations and World Trade Organization, a role she has held since 2014. She also served as acting Executive Director in 2020. A Zambian economist, she previously led the relaunch of the Enhanced Integrated Framework at the WTO, supporting least developed countries' trade capacity.

She earlier served as Chief Trade Negotiator and Director of Foreign Trade in Zambia's Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Zambia.
