Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, The Republic of Kenya

H.E. Hassan Ali Joho has served as Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs of the Republic of Kenya since August 2024. His stated priorities include strengthening investor confidence, attracting public-private partnerships for large-scale projects and building Kenya's maritime workforce.

Before joining the Cabinet, he served two terms as the first Governor of Mombasa County (2013–2022), and before that as Member of Parliament for Kisauni (2008–2013).
