Mr. Asgeir Øygard Ervi

COO, Malthe Winje Infrapower and Co-Founder, Carpathian Hydro Energy AS

Mr. Asgeir Øygard Ervik is Chief Operating Officer of Malthe Winje Infrapower (MWIP) and Co-Founder of Carpathian Hydro Energy AS, a developer and investor in small-scale hydropower projects in Africa and Eastern Europe. He works hands-on across project development, construction, financing, and stakeholder engagement, helping turn renewable energy opportunities into operational assets. His recent work has focused on advancing hydropower projects in Ukraine, Kenya, and Burundi.

Prior to MWIP, Mr. Ervik led major electrification and construction projects in Norway and Europe and served as an officer in the Norwegian Armed Forces, managing international infrastructure projects across NATO and partner countries. He holds a degree in Military Construction Engineering from the Norwegian Military Academy
