Mr. Michiel Botman

Managing Director, Veris Investments B.V.

Mr. Michiel Botman is CFRO and Co-head of Investments at Veris and set-up Veris together with Juliette de Wijkerslooth. Mr. Botman is the investment lead for the investments in Yalelo Uganda and Kamimbi Aqua Feed and has also been involved in various stages of investments in other companies in Veris’ portfolio. Prior to Veris, he was a senior investment officer at FMO’s private equity team, with a focus on Africa. Earlier work experience includes BNP Paribas, PWC, IBM and African infrastructure fund manager AIIM. Michiel holds an MSc. in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
