Mr. Michiel Botman

Managing Director, Veris Investments B.V.

Mr. Michiel Botman is the CFRO and Co-head of Investments at Veris, and he set up Veris together with Juliette de Wijkerslooth. Mr. Botman is the investment lead for the investments in Yalelo Uganda and Kamimbi Aqua Feed and has also been involved in various stages of investments in other companies in Veris’ portfolio.

Prior to Veris, he was a senior investment officer at FMO’s private equity team, with a focus on Africa. Earlier work experience includes BNP Paribas, PWC, IBM and African infrastructure fund manager AIIM.

Mr. Botman holds an MSc in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
