Mr. Robert Mukiza

Director General, Uganda Investment Authority

Mr. Robert Mukiza is Director General of the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), a semi-autonomous body responsible for promoting and facilitating investment in Uganda. Appointed in 2021 and recently reappointed for a second five-year term, he oversees investment licensing, incentives and facilitation for foreign and domestic investors, including tax holidays and support navigating regulatory frameworks.

He previously served as Deputy Director at the Global Green Growth Institute. He holds a BSc from Makerere University and an MSc from the University of Kent.
