Ms. Runa Alam

Co-Founder and Chair, Development Partners International

Ms. Runa Alam is Co-Founder and Chair of Development Partners International (DPI), a leading private equity firm investing across Africa. With more than 35 years' experience in private equity, emerging markets and investment banking, including over 20 years in Africa, she previously chaired the African Private Equity Association (AVCA) and serves on the board of CARE International.

She holds a BA in International and Developmental Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
