Kenya-Norway Business Forum 2026

On the 9th of June, The Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA), together with the NHO International Cooperation Programme and in partnership with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted the Kenya-Norway Business Forum 2026, bringing together business leaders, investors, and policymakers from both countries.

The forum was graced by H.E. William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, who led a high-level delegation as part of his official visit to Norway. His presence, alongside Norway's Minister of International Development, Åsmund Aukrust, underscored the significance both nations place on deepening bilateral economic ties.

Discussions centered on some of the most promising areas for collaboration between Kenya and Norway: renewable energy, agribusiness, the blue economy, and digital innovation. Norwegian companies took part, reflecting strong and growing interest in Kenya as one of Africa's fastest-growing investment destinations.

The forum took place alongside a series of high-level engagements during President Ruto's visit, including talks on maritime cooperation, sustainable investment, and green shipping corridors between the two countries.

For NABA, the forum represented another milestone in its mission to connect Norwegian and African business communities; creating a platform where genuine partnerships, not just conversations, can take shape.

We are proud to have played a part in bringing this gathering to life, and we look forward to seeing the opportunities explored in Oslo translate into lasting collaboration between Kenya and Norway in the months and years ahead.
