Malthe Winje Infrapower Signs PPA for Waga Hydropower Project in Burundi

We’re proud to celebrate that our member Malthe Winje Infrapower (MWIP) and KAGE Ltd have entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 2 MW Waga project in Burundi. The agreement marks an important step toward strengthening the country’s electricity supply and promoting the transition to clean energy.

The project will deliver sustainable power to the national grid and contribute to economic growth and energy security. With the PPA in place, MWIP is now preparing financing and project launch in collaboration with local and international partners.
