The NABA Team is expanding!

We are delighted to announce that the NABA team is growing. This month, we welcomed Hassan Mahfouz as our newest colleague, joining as the Head of Digital and Memberships. NABA is experiencing a huge demand as Africa’s role in the world economy is expanding rapidly, driven by demographic growth, technological innovation and increasing regional integration. For Norwegian companies, the continent represents a dynamic landscape of opportunity — from renewable and low carbon energy solutions to agribusiness, infrastructure and blue‑economy partnerships. NABA’s role is to continue to bridge Norwegian expertise with African demands, and as our membership base grows, so does the need for stronger administrative support.

Hassan’s arrival reflects this momentum. His expertise adds much‑needed capacity to our team, enabling us to provide even better service to our members, respond more quickly to emerging opportunities and strengthen our role in facilitating high‑quality Norwegian–African partnerships.

With this expansion, NABA is better positioned than ever to support companies navigating Africa’s evolving markets and to help shape the next chapter of Norway’s engagement with the continent.
